Harvey Building Products’ Contractor Referral Program is our way of helping connect homeowners to professional contractors in their area that have experience installing our products. However, there are steps you should take before hiring any contractor to work on your home. Please note the following disclaimer.
Referred contractors are independent contractors and not employees of Harvey. Please refer to the Harvey window and other product warranties for specific details, as we do not warrant the performance of any contractor, including those on our Contractor Referral Program, and we specifically disclaim any such warranty. Please note that the foregoing disclaimer applies not only to improper installation of Harvey products, but also to any other claims, damages or liabilities you may have out of your dealings with your contractor, including those on our Contractor Referral Program.
Rest assured that Harvey stands by our products as stated in our warranty, and we want your experience with Harvey to be a positive one
At Harvey, we have always believed that the best way to improve your home with high quality building products is to have them installed by experienced professionals.
Harvey Building Products Contractor Referral Program, HBP ProZone®, is our way of helping connect homeowners to professional contractors in their area. With our program, you can view contractor certifications, profiles, product categories, and easily sort and choose contractors that meet your specific needs.
Contractors on the Harvey Building Products referral list have voluntarily requested to be on our program. Because this is a voluntary program for contractors, the list in no way represents Harvey Building Products’ entire customer base.
Contractors with this indication have met an increased level of requirements set by Harvey Building Products, which include minimum product purchases by product category, a minimum number of years purchasing Harvey products and/or other criteria set forth by Harvey. There are two levels to the Master Applicator; Gold and Platinum, which can be distinguished by the color of the Master Applicator logo. Platinum level status indicates the company has met a significantly higher minimum of product purchases for a given product category.
Harvey Building Products does not review or validate a contractor’s license or insurance.
Currently we service all of the New England states, and portions of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. We are unable to distribute products to other areas at this time. If you are located within the service areas listed and are having difficulty receiving search results, we suggest you expand the distance of your mile radius search area. If you are located out of these listed areas, we will not be able to provide contractor names at this time.
Any qualified contractor you choose can establish an account with Harvey Building Products and provide you with Harvey products.
No, the contractors do not receive any information regarding you or your search. If you choose, you may opt to provide the contractors with your information but that would only happen if you specifically check off the box requesting that we do so. Otherwise, it remains your choice as to which contractor(s) you decide to contact.
We suggest contacting your individual contractor to resolve the issues. However, if these attempts have been exhausted, complaints for these types of issues can be submitted to your state’s Attorney General office or the Better Business Bureau.
When choosing a contractor, as suggested by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), it is important to consider many factors including:
And in the end, we encourage you to make your decision based on the overall value you will receive. As with most major purchases, cost is an important consideration but not the only one.
