Project Spotlight: From Summer to Year-Round Living

Shaw Remodeling was tasked with converting a summer cottage in Old Lyme, CT to a year-round home where the owners could enjoy the spectacular ocean views any season of the year. Some of the many upgrades to the home included:

• A new layout on the second floor with ocean views from the master bedroom
• Two new full baths
• A new kitchen
• Year round living space added by converting front porches

Harvey was Shaw Remodeling’s go-to supplier for Harvey Classic double-hung windows and CertainTeed Cedar Impressions siding. On the side of the house, a Therma-Tru fiberglass entry door was also purchased from Harvey, which leads out onto a new Azek side deck with cable railings.
